If you want to make the best looking flowerpot cupcakes without too much work to do then you will have to try this Jelly Bean Flowerpot Cupcakes. All you’ll need are your chocolate cupcakes, frosting and your jelly beans.

They are so easy to make that even children or those who are not that great at designing or decorating cupcakes can do themselves. Plus they are very quick cupcakes that you can prepare even on the day of your party or occasion. And they make jelly beans so attractive.

INGREDIENTS

jelly beans assorted sizes and colours
colored candies (Mike and Ikes, gumballs etc)
cupcakes in standard cups (you can use a regular chocolate cupcake mix)
cupcakes baked in silicone flower pots (you can use a regular chocolate cupcake mix)

chocolate buttercream
green vanilla buttercream

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the cupcakes as directed by recipe and then allow to cool completely.

Pipe a thin layer of chocolate buttercream on top of the standard sized cupcake. And after, put jelly beans in a flower pattern, working from the outside, in. Place cupcakes in the fridge to set/harden the buttercream.

With a grass tip, cover the top of the flower pot cupcake. Now, with a petal tip, add leaves along the edges of the cupcake, on top of the grass. Place the flower cupcake laying on it’s side, on top of the grass cupcake.

Finally, store them in a sealed container in the fridge until ready to serve.
