Give a little twist to your regular Whiskey Shots with these cupcakes.
Cupcakes can be in any design, flavor, size and number. And this specific flavor is one that adults will surely love. It can give a very unique twist to traditional cupcakes and give adults who don’t really eat sweets the urge to go for a cupcake.
These cupcakes are basically made of Fireball whisky and topped with Fireball butter cream frosting. As cute as they look, they are the perfect match for a cool weather especially this season.
Don’t underestimate it as it tastes exactly as the drink itself. So brace yourself if you are up to taking a shot. And yes, since it is a jello shot, so you’ll have to shoot it instead of chewing it. But for those still looking for the sweetness of a cupcake, that’s where the frosting and sprinkles come in. They’ll give you a kick of whiskey and a hint of sweetness.

Fireball Whisky Cupcake Shots
1/3 cup ginger ale
2 envs gelatin (plain / unflavored, 1/4oz per envelope)
2/3 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
3 drops food colouring (red, optional)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 tbsp Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 pinch salt
On a small cupcake pan, lightly spray non-stick cooking spray and wipe off the excess with a paper towel. In a medium saucepan, pour in the ginger ale. Sprinkle gelatin on top and allow to “bloom” for 2-3 minutes. Gelatin will be puffy. Set heat to low and whisk ginger ale and gelatin constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved (about 5-8 minutes). Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour in the Fireball whisky to the jello mix. Add a few drops of red food coloring if desired. Pour jello mixture into molds / muffin tin and place in the refrigerator until set, about 2-3 hours.
