Glow in the Dark cupcakes for your indoor Halloween Party.

I’m sure that many of you are still looking for the coolest Halloween cupcakes you can serve. And I’m guessing that you’d want designs that would make you look like a rock star or baking god to others.

Well this might be your lucky day! I came across this really awesome way to make your cupcakes look very unique, spooky and super cool for the Halloween. And I’m feeling really generous today that I’d love to share it with you all.

Check out these glow in the dark Halloween cupcakes. It won’t really cost you much to get these little creepy sweets ready for your party. And you can use any type of cupcake with white frosting for it. The best part is you can even use the same procedure for cupcakes for other events the whole year round.

Glow in The Dark Halloween Cupcakes

Ingredients

Frosting
  • 1 cup Real Butter
  • 4 – 6 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 5 tablespoons tonic water
  • 1-2 tablespoons Vanilla
Glow in the Dark Dip
  • 1 small box lime jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup tonic water

Instructions
Frosting
Beat butter until smooth, gradually add powdered sugar, alternate with tonic water. Stir in the vanilla and the frosting should be stiff for these cupcakes.
Glow in the Dark Effect

Mix together the jello and boiling water, stir 2 minutes until dissolved

Then add tonic water and stir. Place in the bowl with the jello mixture in large bowl with ice water and stir until jello is cool to the touch.
01gNow, remove jello from the ice bath. Take out a couple of cupcakes from the freezer one at a time and dip in jello mixture. Return them back in the freezer, repeat dipping and freezing process 4-6 times. Make sure to have your frosting stiff, not super stiff though, it will work better when dipping.
The magic here in is the tonic as that will help greatly with the glow in the dark effect. So make sure  you have one at hand.
