Cream-filled cupcakes that will take you to heaven.

Cupcakes are truly pieces of heaven but they are more heavenly when they are made more special with filling in it.

Vanilla may seem to be a simple ingredient. But do not underestimate it as it can bring so much flavor to a cupcake if you know how to work your way around it. And this recipe is a proof of such thing.

I completely adore this recipe I found only. It was just amazing when I tried baking it and of course consuming 3 cupcakes. My kids and hubby loved them so much that I had to whip another batch of it just right before everything was all eaten up. So try it out and tell us what you think.

Chocolate Cream Filled Vanilla Bean Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Frosting

Ingredients:

Cupcakes

1¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

¾ cup white sugar

1 egg

1 egg white

4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

⅓ cup buttermilk

2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
Filling

1 teaspoon water, hot

3½ ounces marshmallow fluff

¼ cup vegetable shortening

3 tablespoons powdered sugar

2 tablespoons Dutch-processed cocoa powder

½ teaspoon vanilla

Frosting

1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

3 cups powdered sugar

¼ cup milk or cream
